Saliva Hormone Testing
Hormone balance is extremely important and it is highly beneficial to know and understand where your hormone levels are. Men, women and children benefit from knowing their hormone levels. Hormones testing can include cortisol, estrogens, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA. For women, hormone imbalances contribute to weight gain, depression, anxiety, difficulty coping with stress, irritability, sleep disturbances, hot flashes, bone loss and breast cancer. For men, hormone imbalances contribute to bone loss, erectile dysfunction, memory loss, apathy, depression, weight gain and prostate problems.
Hair Mineral Analysis
This test involves a quantitative measurement of minerals and heavy metals in hair samples. It is useful to determine if heavy metal toxicity is a contributing factor of dis-ease in the body. Additionally, this test may reveal possible digestive system disturbances, such as problems with absorption and assimilation of minerals, which may indicate possible nutrient deficiencies.
Allergy Sensitivity Testing
Common allergens include peanuts, corn, wheat, dairy and soy. However, the incidence of allergies is rapidly spreading and increasing. This lab test evaluates the response of IgG and IgE antibodies in the blood to a variety substances including vegetables, fruits, herbs and candida. This is a fairly accurate test to determine the foods and substances your body reacts to. Most reactions occur to foods most often consumed.
Muscle Energy Response Testing
This is a method of assessing sensitivity of the body’s energetic field to a variety of substances including foods, supplements, energies, chemicals and pollutants. Additionally, muscle energy testing can be used to give some indication of the body’s energy centers. In the past, muscle energy testing has been referred to as applied kinesiology.
